Box news: Guerrero will face Mayweather in May

Mayweather, 43-0 with 26 knockouts, has not fought since winning a unanimous decision over 12 rounds to Miguel Cotto in May.

 The southpaw Guerrero, 1.1.31 record and 18 KOs, has won 15 straight fights since suffering his only loss, a split decision in 2005 against Mexican Gamaliel Diaz.

Boxing fans have been waiting for a fight between Mayweather and Filipino icon Manny Pacquiao (02/05/54, 38 KOs).
